HOA Meeting Minutes
• Follow up with Kate on the Newsletter. She will quarterback.
• Roughly $150 for last year’s copies (2-sided color)
• 2X Per Year Newsletter in the past, Quarterly would be ideal
• Susie – 75 Homes late on dues; she will send reminders in early July.
• Discussed late penalties. We’ll keep the 90-day late grace period. A 10% fee is charged for payments received after 90 days.
Old Business
• Lien on one property – small brown cottage on Rio Oro. Roughly $3,500 owed in dues. The lien was placed roughly 5 years ago (?). Expires in 10 years.
New Business
- One Home (new home) on Sierra Vista has been sent a letter assessing a one-time $500 fee
to add them to the BB HOA for use of the access lot. They can decline if they don’t wish to be part of the HOA or use the access lot. - Larry has a set of new keys, and he will get to Susie.
- We will give Cornelius PD the code to lock the box on the access lot.
- Newsletter Info (next newsletter late July/ early August)
- Renovations to the structure or appearance of the property should be submitted to HOA for approval.
- New fencing changes or additions should be submitted to HOA for approval. 8’ in the backyard and 4’ in the front yard.
- New Board Members (quick blurb on each member), phone numbers, and the BB email for reminders.
- Reminder of Dues, late fee, and date that will be assessed.
- Towing will be enforced at the Access Lot.
- Past Accomplishments of the previous board (Maryann has a list).
- This is a reminder to please drive slowly through the neighborhood! Lots of children at play and onbikes.
- Prices to hook up to City Sewer and Water. Include a link to hookup info.
- Include info for Carolina Water for questions or info.
- Spectrum Fiber Network should be done within the next month or so.
- We’re still Looking for Volunteers for several committees. Include what committees need volunteers and what to expect if you volunteer.
